Anyway she is currently 7 stars Da Dou Shi, for comparison Xiao Yan is like one star Da Dou Shi and Nalan Yanran is a two star Da Dou Shi. Like I mentioned before she is always stronger than Xiao Yan, until towards the end of the novel lol

Not sure about the authors health. I just take it like its something usual considering I've watched a lot of anime over the years and so many of them I'd love to see a second season yet it never happens. I wouldn't have minded a second season for Ballroom E Youkoso but I don't think it would have been well received in general.

Btoom was the only Japanese anime I actually looked at the manga for and after reading it, I could see why they never bothered with a second season.

Yeah a few critics said the animation or the lack of animation of the dance scene wasnt that great, using stills instead of movement, pity though I quite liked it, in fact it got me into ballroom dancing for a short time. This was also because I was attending a wedding and I had watch the original Japanese movie called Shall we dance? which was remade into a film starring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez.

In all honesty I think that anime was more geared towards females anyway since they have a better feel for music compared to males and look better dancing rhythmically. ;)

In regard to Btoom, it was a battle royal anime but I liked the concept of being able to register a person who you didn't like or had done wrong to you which led to them being kidnapped and thrown on a island to fight for their lives. Personally, I have a few people I wouldn't mind registering for that and I'm sure there are others who probably have some too. I know holding a grudge is never healthy but some things can never be forgiven.

To be honest, I kind of forgotten about that, it was just something I was curious about at the time. Thinking back on it, it was most likely the spirit hall that helped him to upgrade his level which they seem to struggle to obtain in that area of the world.

You are not wrong in remembering, but the events that occur is not in order. He enters the academy, competes in the rankings (that first fight he had in this episode) reaches the top rank and then is allowed to enter the inner academy. But in order to enter the inner academy they had to go through the Forest trial

It is also because Xiao Yan can increase his strength using the Sky Fire Three Mysterious Change technique but it is also because Fan Ling's cultivation lacked foundation.

lol He is infamous because there are a lot of guys going after Xun'Er, so he is hated by them, since Xiao Yan was supposed to take a year off that turned into two years. In the novel, Ruo Ling, Xun'er and Xiao Yan's Huang class teacher was ridiculed because of Xiao Yan's absence. Her teaching status was affected and if Xiao Yan didnt turn up this year she would have been demoted.

In the novel though, Xiao Yan is aware of the problem Xun'Er has caused him, the moment he stepped into the academy. the group leader of the Law Enforcement explains it more in detail about Xun'Er's suitors. They really removed a lot of content though. Xiao Yan's cousins are missing. Xiao Ning, the cousin who fought with him in season 1 met up with him after entering the academy, updates him on the situation and the female cousin (the one with sexy legs) Xiao Yu is supposed to be with Xun'Er during the ranking fight before Xiao Yan appeared.

So Fan Ling was a loser and a fake vampire aha. I need to recover some info about the sky fire again, getting all his fires mixed up now.

Heavenly Flame, is actually "another" or "external" "something extraordinary" flame, the novel translator decided to call it "heavenly" or "divine" since it sounded better. These flames are very rare flames that are more powerful than the flames found in beasts, which is why they are "another" flame

All alchemist strives for the best flame they can get as it helps them with their pill refining, to obtain a heavenly flame is a lifetime goal for not only alchemists but also cultivators.

He gets 1st part from Yao Chen, 2-3 in Burning Valley and Xiao Xuan gives him 4th and last part. 3 part is complete for everyone but Xiao clan members as 4th part requires Xiao bloodline to activate clan tatoo. Burning Valley never had full skill

Also, good reason why Xiao Xuan didn't give Burning Valley was the fact that he didn't trust them completely. Some writers are very good at tying things together and never forgets the small things but they also have their short comings like kindhearted bee (MGA, likes to make to MC silent and endures taunts), xin xing Xiaoyao (chaotic sword god, mc gets chased around and hides like a bug), and mars gravity (against the gods, where all his novels are very similar). But all three writers never forgets minor characters.

fanren has complex dialogue and awful translation. I cannot emphasize with the story because of the imperfect dialogue. The graphics are clear / high quality but the story itself has little CGI. THe flames and sparks in BTTH look exponentially better than fan ren. Also MC and events in fan ren and long and thoughtful. This kind of story requires a lot of detailed description of events and we need to see a lot of MCs inner thought something which the novel may achieve but the anime cannot. So it naturally falls down the ladder. But still top 10, that is undisputed.
